A Wildcatter Ranch wedding is a little different from your traditional wedding venue, and that’s part of the fun! With 30 doors on property and no single space built to hold more than 50–70 guests, we don’t try to make every wedding fit the same mold. Instead, we offer several ways to celebrate, from an intimate Pavilion wedding to a private Ranch House weekend to a mountain-top tent celebration. And for larger weddings, our sister property, Sparrow Creek Ranch, is right next door.
Our private mountaintop estate overlooking the Brazos River offers an intimate setting for weddings of up to 70 guests. Your two-night stay includes the Ranch House, tables and chairs for your ceremony and reception, setup and teardown, and black tablecloths. That way you can spend less time worrying about the details and more time enjoying the weekend.
With four bedrooms, an attached terrace, and a patio overlooking the river, the Ranch House gives your wedding party a private place to stay, get ready, gather, and celebrate.
For smaller celebrations of up to 50 guests, the Pavilion offers an intimate setting with the mountain-top views that make Wildcatter special. It’s a beautiful option for couples who want a more personal celebration while still giving guests the full ranch experience.
Stay onsite, enjoy the resort’s amenities and activities, gather for meals, and turn your wedding into a true weekend getaway.
If you’re looking for the luxury of a stunning tent wedding with incredible views, this is the Wildcatter option that goes big. Set high above the North Texas Hill Country, a mountain-top tent wedding lets you create a fully customized celebration with the landscape as your backdrop.
The $60,000 tent price is the starting point for the tent itself; additional wedding costs will depend on your event, including catering, rentals, décor, entertainment, and other vendors.
Sparrow Creek Ranch is Wildcatter’s sister property and was built specifically for weddings, making it the better fit for larger celebrations. It can accommodate weddings of up to 200 guests, while Wildcatter becomes the place where everyone stays, eats, relaxes, and celebrates all weekend long.
It’s a combination couples do all the time: stay at Wildcatter, get ready in the Ranch House, host the rehearsal dinner here, fill the weekend with ranch activities, then head next door to Sparrow Creek for the ceremony and reception. You get the wedding venue and the destination wedding experience without asking one property to do everything.
“Wildcatter— and most of our family, friends, and wedding party stayed here! This was perfect because the groom and groomsmen were able to go fishing and skeet shooting during the day while the bride and bridesmaids got ready at the venue! The boys had a blast, and the place is stunning! We got so many compliments from our wedding guests who stayed here, and it felt like a vacation getaway on top of a wedding weekend! The hotel is beautiful, and so are the cabins! Each cabin has a different western theme, and the history of that theme is on the wall in each room. If you want a classy Western feel, definitely come stay here! We will definitely have to come back because there just wasn’t enough time in 3 days to enjoy this place enough!”
