“Dear Kalli & George - Thank you so very much for our dream weekend at the Wildcatter. Every detail came together without a hitch. The Homestead house was the perfect gathering place. The other families loved their cabins. The chef had fabulous steaks for 85% of the family (the other food was great too!). Our 4 with Celiac/DF had no problems the whole weekend - which rarely happens!) We had just the right amount of activities (loved them all!) Then we could still enjoy swimming, hiking, fishing at PK, eating breakfast, feeding longhorns, and having perfect relaxation! I didn’t even order that perfectly beautiful weather! I’m so glad we met & I hope we can become friends! 

I will continue to spread the word about your “hidden Texas gem!” Thank you for working with all my questions & needs.  The result was the “family memory” we wanted to share with our loved ones.”

CONSIDERATIONS

• Wildcatter Ranch and Resort is a very large property, you will need a car to enjoy it. The horse barn where most activities take place is in the valley, while the Steakhouse and Lodging are up on the mountain top whereas the distance is not walkable.

• Breakfast and Dinner are served daily, but Wildcatter Steakhouse is not open for lunch outside of pre-ordered boxed lunches received two weeks in advance.

• You will want to enjoy the small town of Graham, TX (15 minutes away) for lunch and shopping for antiques and local goods. Mineral Wells and Possum Kingdom Lake are also nearby and great places to shop, eat and find some fun activities.

• Summer heat restricts our summer activities to the morning only.
