Here’s How It Works:

Test Your Skills At Our Archery Range

Start with the bow and learn the basics from one of our instructors. They’ll help you get comfortable with the equipment, show you how to position yourself, and offer pointers as you work on sending your arrows where you want them to go.

Once you’ve had your turn with archery, it’s time to pick your second activity. Go with a tomahawk or try your hand at spear throwing, then see how close you can get to the target. No experience necessary, just come ready to give it a shot.

The Skills That Shaped The Frontier

A Look Back At Archery In Texas

Long before archery ranges and axe-throwing lanes, these were practical skills. A bow could provide food from a distance, while an axe or tomahawk was a useful tool for everything from clearing a path to building a camp. On the Texas frontier, knowing how to use the tools at hand was simply part of getting by.
At Wildcatter, we put a little more fun into those old-school skills. Pick up a bow, tomahawk, or spear and see how your skills stack up.
